I found it! I found it! The Perfect Flutter-Sleeve Little Black Floral Dress!  This flowy floral,  v- neck dress, with a romantic flutter-sleeves is the perfect staple dress to wear this fall. The fabric is a comfortable lightweight gauzy material and the elastic cinched waistline is flattering on the figure.

How I Found this Dress

I spotted this amazing dress while back to school shopping with my kids at Old Navy. I shouldn’t have been shopping for myself, but this little floral black dress was so dang cute and under 50 bucks!

While on the subject of school, let me share a funny sappy story about my son Stadler who just started kindergarten. He is one of the funniest characters you’ll ever meet. Personality + is how my mother describes him!

Any-who, Stadler hopped into the car on the last day of the first week of school along with his older sister and the neighbor friends we carpool with. Shamelessly and as loud as he can, Stadler announces to the entire car “Mom, I fink (think) I’m in MWUV (love)!!!”  Voiced in the dreamiest and over-the-top acting, think soap opera style, you have ever heard!

The entire car busted up laughing, but the madly in love Stadler was unfazed. I, however, was fazed!…. but somehow managed a string of now nervous mom follow up questions “Stadler, what do you mean you’re in love? What’s this girls name? Is she in your class?” He then professes to me “No, she’s not in my class, I don’t know her name, but every time she looks at me I just get these tingles in my body and I don’t know what to do? I’m just in MWUV!”

You guys he’s in kindergarten!!! Do you think I should be worried? Isn’t that a little young? I am terrified for two reasons, one being how early this boy has started and two being how ill-prepared his momma feels for it. Let me know what you think and please share similar stories…. I can’t be the only one with a little lovestruck pup!  Hope Y’all are having a great week!

Cheers!

Whitney
