I love entertaining! I’m always looking for an opportunity to throw a fun party. When my best friend told me she was pregnant we first went a little crazy and may have screamed for joy, but once we both became coherent my mind immediately drifted to party planning for her soon to be born baby!
My friend Jacklyn is an amazing person who also happens to have lots of friends who adore her. So before I share my tips on how to throw the perfect tribal themed baby shower, I can’t take all the credit. Four beautiful women graciously lent their talents.
Decorations for Our Tribal Themed Baby Shower
Tribal arrow decor is popular! Gratefully, no need to venture far to find fun natural decor elements to add to any dazzling shower. To achieve this boho look I used the following: fresh flowers, moss, wooden stumps, and a mixture of paper and fabric garland. The combination of mixing different media and textures, as seen in the picture, added a pleasant and festive touch.
Another fun tribal touch was using this lovable teepee to house all the shower gifts brought. It fit perfectly with our theme and added a large decorative piece to the room!

The Crêpe Bar
This is where my friend Juli’s expertise came into play. She made all of the crêpes and dessert for this party. Seriously, my mouth still salivates at the thought of those crêpes and I’m not just saying that because she’s my friend! Lucky you, because you can find the link to her recipe by clicking here.
The toppings used for our crêpes bar, other than the cream fillings, are listed below
- Fresh berries- Strawberries, blueberries, blackberry, and raspberries
- Sauces- caramel, strawberry, chocolate, and white chocolate
- Brown and powdered sugar
- Nutella
- Peanut butter
- Chocolate chips
Yes, this tribal shower ended up being a great excuse to be able to spend my morning with my tribe of friends and celebrate Jacklyn and her handsome baby boy!
