It no secret that I have a crush on my Wet Brush!! I think it is the greatest invention since sliced bread. Wet brushes are magical, life-changing, and make the best gifts to give to anyone. What could be better than a Wet Brush for Christmas? A monogrammed Wet Brush with their initials on it! Heres how to personalize your brush using your Silhouette Cameo machine.

Step # 1 Design

I love my Silhouette Cameo as much as my Wet Brush! I’ve owned my Silhouette machine for about 7 years, use it all the time, and it has been worth every penny! I could teach you how to design your own monogrammed image, but to keep things simple this font was purchased from Silhouette Design Studio Store titled MONOGRAM FULL CIRCLE for $2.99. I’m making a ton of these wet brushes to give to all my loved ones so the ease of purchasing a preset design was worth it. I can create multiples very quickly.

This design by Rivka Wilkins is available for personal use only. When designing this monogram use Capital letters (Shift + letter) for the center letter. Use lowercase letters for the 1st and 3rd letters.

Step #2 Cut

Once you have determined how big you want your design to be (mine was 2.012 inches high and 1.691 inches long to fit my Wet Brush) then you are ready to cut. When cutting from a vinyl roll I never use my mat unless it’s a small scrap piece.

Make sure to fuse your design before cutting. Next, determine your vinyl material, follow silhouette Studio’s cutting directions before sending the cut to the cameo.

Step #3 Detach and Stick

Cut and trim off excess vinyl. Be careful sometimes it’s hard to see. Using your hook tool carefully peel away the excess. Grab your transferring tape and measure out a piece to fit your design.

Before pealing off the back of the vinyl paper, run your scraper tool over the top so the vinyl will transfer easily. Peel off and position. Run the scraper tool along the top of the brush a couple of times to improve transfer.
