Jump Into Fall Fashion

Happy Fall Y’all! My goodness, I am ready for the Autumn season chill to set in. It was a hot and humid summer in Texas and the thought of snuggling up in a large oversized sweater while sipping hot cocoa excites me! Unfortunately, the forecast this weekend is expected to be in the high 80’s and leaves me stuck in wardrobe transition mode. Clearly, I am having a difficult time patiently waiting for fall to actually arrive (not just officially) so I may get that new clothes feeling by unboxing fall clothes forgotten about for the past 6 months! One fall fashion trend that has been on my mind often, and is perfect for the transition from hot to cold weather, is the fall fashion jumper trend that is becoming incredibly popular right now!

I’ll admit I was a little skeptical about this trend at first, but that was before I tried one of these babies on. Let me just tell you, Jumpers are “THE BOMB!” They are hands down one of the most comfortable things I have ever worn. Pajamas for the day! They give that lightweight feel, but also look amazing layered. I can’t wait to add a cardigan once it gets colder!

You can dress them up or down with a tennis shoe or spice them up with a fun fall fashion bootie. Confession, I love this trend so much that I may have sort-of recently purchased two more slightly different jumpers. I just can’t get enough!, but Shh! This secret is just between you and me, so please don’t tell my husband until after he sees me in them.

I’m not here to sell you a jumper, although I do recommend this fun one from Venus in case your interested. I’m only here to share with you the secret on how to pull this fun trend off. It is all in the accessories! Layer in a long necklace and sassy earrings for a scooped neckline jumper. Add a hat to get your fall fashion look to pop!

If your jumper has a plunging neckline, pair it with a short chunky neckless. Add in a fun belt and a spicy heel for a night out. If you are looking for a casual look, may I suggest layering under a tee shirt or adding in a jean vest. Pair all this together with a converse tennis shoe and multi-layered necklaces and you are good to get your fall on!
